1. Introduction
Welcome to YouPretty ("we", "us", the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", the "User") and Malik Abimanyu, operating YouPretty as a sole proprietor based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. Your continued use of YouPretty means you accept any updates we make to these Terms.
2. What YouPretty Does
YouPretty is an AI-powered makeup simulation app. You upload a selfie, our AI generates styled makeup looks, and you save the results to your personal vault.
The Service includes:
- Unlimited AI-generated makeup looks
- A range of occasions and aesthetic vibes
- HD downloads of your generated looks
- A personal vault to save and revisit looks
YouPretty is subscription-only — there is no free tier and no trial period.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use YouPretty on your own. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to not impersonate any other person.
4. Your Account
We use email-based authentication. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure — anyone with access to your email can access your YouPretty vault.
You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person. Each account is for a single user.
5. Subscription & Billing
Pricing
- Weekly plan: $9.99 per week
- Yearly plan: $54.99 per year
- Retention plan (when offered): $44.99 per year
All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which are calculated and collected by our payment processor.
Merchant of Record
Billing is handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for processing payments, collecting VAT and other taxes where required, and handling refund requests. When you subscribe, you also agree to Paddle's terms and privacy policy.
Auto-renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the Account page inside the app.
Cancellation
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that date, access to premium features ends. Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining period.
Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed by Paddle under their published refund policy. You can initiate a refund request by replying to any Paddle receipt or contacting us at support@youpretty.app and we'll route it to Paddle.
6. Your Content
You keep full ownership of the selfies you upload and the AI-generated looks we produce from them.
By uploading a selfie, you grant YouPretty a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:
- Send your selfie to our AI provider for processing
- Store the resulting makeup look in your vault
- Display your looks back to you inside the app
This license exists only to run the Service for you. We don't use your selfies or generated looks for marketing or to train AI models.
You are solely responsible for what you upload. You must have the right to upload any image you submit, and you must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or a photo of someone else without their consent.
7. Acceptable Use
When using YouPretty, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use bots, scrapers, or any automated means to access the Service or its APIs
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the AI-generated images
- Use the Service to create deepfakes, impersonate others, or harass, harm, or deceive any person
- Circumvent paywalls, rate limits, or other technical restrictions
8. Intellectual Property
The YouPretty name, branding, logo, user interface, code, and all associated materials are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the selfies you upload and of the makeup-generated looks produced for your account. We claim no ownership of your personal images.
9. AI Results Are Approximations
Looks produced by YouPretty are AI-generated approximations intended for visualization and entertainment. They are not professional or medical advice, and actual makeup applied in real life may differ in color, coverage, and finish.
We don't guarantee any particular aesthetic outcome or that a given look will be flattering, accurate to you, or achievable with real products.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account anytime via the Account page. Deleting your account removes your saved looks and associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk or legal exposure for us. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice first.
11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us (or paid Paddle for YouPretty) in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we'll give you reasonable notice (typically via email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with the Service will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jakarta, Indonesia.
